isitors are invited to watch or join some traditional farm tasks such as shearing sheep, or “rooing” wool from those which shed their wool; scouring, carding and spinning the wool, weaving on a 19th century “barn loom” and caring for the livestock. The farm, 1.3 miles east to west, has two self guided tour trails. The east trail crosses an organic hay field and descends through a mixed upland forest to Havener Pond and its surrounding wetlands. The west tour crosses the livestock pasture and traverses spring fed forest brooks, crosses granite ledge moss beds to end in areas logged a few years ago. Leaflets explain the marked trees, plants, landforms and farm artifacts
